SUNRISE SAMBA

Formed in April 2023 by the Marina Theatre, Lowestoft, Sunrise Samba is a community Samba band drawing its members from across the town and beyond. The band is already becoming well-recognised locally, with performances including First Light Festival, Lowestoft Gay Pride, Norwich Lord Mayor's Procession and Claremont Pier Halloween Party.

Drawing its inspiration from Brazilian music and other carnival traditions, Sunrise Samba plays a range of traditional and contemporary pieces.

The band rehearses weekly on a Tuesday evening. No previous experience is necessary and all instruments are provided.
